The change in seasons never ceases to stir up intense emotions. This is no coincidence. As nature transforms, we too can feel energetic shifts occurring within and around us, for we are not separate from nature. Instead of allowing these shifts to throw us off kilter, we can remain steady by welcoming each new season with rituals, bodywork, and mindfulness practices that bring us back to our true “nature.”
In this year-long series, we will combine the Wheel of the Year and traditions of pagan culture with yoga and meditation, yoga philosophy, and yoga psychology to live like seasonal, soulful yogis. The year will be filled with eight workshops based around the Wheel of the Year, which is a solar calendar composed of sacred days that mark the passing seasons. These include the Winter and Summer Solstices, the Spring and Autumnal Equinoxes, and the four midpoint days between each season. The workshops will help you attune to the rhythms of the natural world so you can maintain internal balance amidst change, move through seasonal transitions with ease, and feel more rooted as you rise into your fullest potential.
We don’t have to walk this life path alone. In fact, we weren’t meant to. We were meant to do it with nature as our guide, and with one another by our side. This is a spiritual journey back home to yourself, guided by the sacred rhythms of the earth and supported by a collective community.
If you want to connect more deeply with nature, if you believe in seasonal living, and if you are a yogi who wants to weave self-care rituals into your year with the accountability of a supportive community, this program is for you.
Each workshop will include a yin yoga practice, journaling exercises related to the arrival of the new season, and time for reflection. Other pranayama, meditation, and sensory experiences will be included depending on the particular season.
Weather permitting, certain workshops will be held outside to feel the connection to nature more deeply.
