Advanced Directive preparation
Your Advanced Directive, or Living Will, is a form that can be used in medical situations to allow your care team to know how you would like to be treated. This document does not need to be reserved for the event that you are actively dying, but can serve as guidelines on what your wishes are if you are incapacitated or unable to communicate. While you may have a next of kin who can serve on your behalf, this outline can help them in the event of making difficult decisions with clarity when emotions may be heightened.
Vigil planning
In planning your vigil, we will focus on how you prefer to be cared for. While your advanced directive focuses on clinical questions that can be used whenever you are in need of medical services, in vigil planning we will dive into the emotional and sensorial wishes you have when being cared for. I would recommend attending a guided meditation session for deeper reflection of what would be most valuable to you.
Aftercare Wishes
Learn what is necessary after one’s death and what options are available in your area for steps to take after death. We will review step by step the regulations around reporting a death, obtaining a death certificate, who to contact, and what options are available to you for disposition. If you are reviewing this for yourself, we can talk about how you would like any funerary or memorial service to feel like for your loved ones. We will also discuss what your options are for funeral homes and or cemeteries.
Digital Legacy
Let’s be real – we live in a world where very few people have zero digital presence. Do you know all your accounts and passwords? Do you have any social media? As a certified millennial, I can help you organize an account management system and any outline of if or how you wish your social presence to remain after your death.

About Bonnie
Life is full of experiences that continue to shape and deepen our connection to ourselves and those around us with each day, and death is a part of the whole. By creating space for people to learn, grieve, and participate in a community I hope to serve the Phoenixville area and ease the transitions that each of us face.
As someone who has confronted death in different capacities through my own life, I feel an openness to facilitating conversation around what is often held as taboo. Because of our culture’s resistance to these discussions, many of us are filled with an existential dread that prevents us from a peaceful parting – either of our own or a loved one. I believe by making preparations on a spiritual and practical level we can create a sort of emotional insurance for our innermost circles.
