Join us around the hearth for this wintertime herbal medicine-making class on tending to our largest organ — the skin — through the making of infused herbal oils and skin-loving salves! In the first class of our monthly herbal medicine series taught by herbalist Alyssa Schimmel of Enspiriting Healing & Ritual Arts, we’ll cover favorite herbs for tending and nurturing the skin, alleviating inflammation & pain, and supporting a variety of skin conditions.

Attendees will meet skin-supportive herbal allies and learn the benefits of natural oils and garden-grown and foraged ingredients that will then be crafted into take-home salves to support wound healing. This workshop will also prepare mutual-aid salves to support elders of the Navajo Nation in Black Mesa, Arizona.
