Frolic in the nectar of the flowers and the wisdom of the honeybee in this Herbal Alchemy medicine class, Pleasure: Honeybee Medicine. We’ll cover the mysticism of the honeybee, their dances, and the many medicinal products of honey, beeswax, pollen, and propolis that make their way into potent medical formulas. Then, we’ll get to crafting with these special bee products. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how to ally with the bees for healing in addition to their own custom-crafted medicines.
Herbal Alchemy is an herbal medicine making class series that channels deep reverence for the green world through practical community-based medicine making from grown and foraged plants. Alyssa has been practicing and teaching herbal medicine for the past 16 years and has led community herbal medicine making programs at arboretums, K-12 schools, universities, senior homes, recovery homes, and more.
